Jessica Smith has been with Milliken for 12 months as part of the North America Chemical Customer Service team. As a Corporate Customer Support Coordinator, she assists customers across the region.
Tell us about your role at Milliken?
"As a Corporate Customer Support Coordinator, I help our chemical customers get materials to their company in a timely manner. This is possible thanks to support from our fantastic supply chain, plant, and logistic teams. I am currently leading a Focus Group team within our department 'To Improve our Knowledge of Customers, Products, and Business to elevate the Customer Experience.' It’s an exciting opportunity."
What do you like most about your job, what excites you?
"We handle multiple product lines on our team which gives me the opportunity to learn something new each day whilst help our many different customers. I really enjoy teaching and helping others and learning new things about our chemicals and how our customers use them. The fact that our chemicals are found in so many products that we all use on a day to day basis is amazing! Not many companies can say they have such an impact like we do at Milliken."
What is your favorite Milliken Chemical memory?
"I have so many wonderful memories but I would say that perhaps my favorite was my visit to our Allen plant when I first started with Milliken. It was amazing to see how everything was being made and how it all came together. It was a wonderful visit that gave me an opportunity to learn new things and meet great people!"
