Divinyltetramethyl disiloxane

Divinyltetramethyldisiloxane XP

SiVance Divinyltetramethyldisiloxane XP (CAS No. 2627-95-4) is a reactive silicone chemical containing silicon vinyl functional groups.

Divinyltetramethyldisiloxane XP is primarily used as an intermediate in the preparation of silicon vinyl end-capped siloxane polymers. The end-capped polymers can be used as intermediates for making modified siloxane polymers to building blocks for silicone elastomers. These materials can then be used in a wide variety of end use applications such as; sealants, coatings and cosmetics.

Intermediate for the preparation of siloxane polymers and elastomers are used for applications such as for sealants, encapsulants, release coatings, water repellent coatings and cosmetics.
